Abstract

While customer data are the main ingredients in each product of Truvo, data quality has always been a key success factor for Truvo in general. Moreover, it had a huge impact on business strategy and innovation plans of the company.

The presented case will illustrate how data quality and data enrichment initiatives in recent years could get enough focus amongst other sales & marketing projects, and which consequences it had for the company in various areas.

Biography Herman Kerstens

Herman is working already more than 15 years for Truvo Belgium. He started as system analyst in the IT department, where he led the development of the central customer data base of Truvo. Later he became responsible for data strategy and data quality of customer data from within the Marketing department. Recently he moved to the New Media department of Truvo Corporate, where his focus has been extending to all content types, which are especially published in online products of Truvo, not only for Belgium but also for the other countries in the group.
