Biography Alain Guillemyn,

Alain Guillemyn has an extensive background in the IT industry, with experience in applying IT in a strategic way to support the business.He has been responsible for re-engineering business processes in order to align the methods of production and administrative processes, and while at PwC he optimized the effectiveness and efficiency of IT departments in different industries (amongst others Telecom, Financial, Aviation, etc.).
In his previou role as CIO of the international multi-media company Roularta Media Group, his main objective was to bring the IT department to a higher performance level in order to address the organisation strategic plan, i.e. essentially an increased “time-to-market” and business performance.
Today he is responsible at International Car Operators (Zeebrugge – Antwerp www.icoterminals.com ) to conduct an in-depth Business Process Reengineering, to automate the Roll-on / Roll-off business in a post-merger of NYK (www.nyk.com ), to package the solution, and to prepare it for implementation in a further world-wide merger and acquisition strategy.
